Add 1+ inch on every side when cutting the film so you have excess film to trim away. 4. Peel off the backing liner. 5. Generously spray the soapy water both on the glass and the window film. 6. Place the film on the wet glass, adjust the position of the window film. 7. Using a plastic squeegee or card, begin squeegeeing the water and air out from under the film. 8. Trim excess material away with a VERY sharp razor or craft knife, leaving a 1/16" wide gap around the edges of the film.
